Welcome letter

On behalf of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Malaga, I would like to offer the warmest welcome to every single participant of the 28th ASEPELT Congress, International Congress on Applied Economics that will be held in Malaga from the 22nd-25th of October. 2014.

The congress is being celebrated at the same time that the beginning of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the University of Malaga’s.

For that reason, this year’s congress title is Economics Science and Economists To the Challenges or our current society. 50 years evaluation.

As dean of this faculty, it is a pleasure for me to hold this congress in Malaga, which will open a series of events to celebrate the 50th anniversary.

These are the questions that we will cover in this Congress; we will make an evaluation of these 50 years and will try to give birth to new ideas and actions for the future.

Finally, I wish you both a productive participation in the congress and a pleasant stay in our city and I avail myself of this opportunity to invite you to know the charms of the city of Malaga, capita of the Costa del Sol, and enjoy the social programme within the Congress.
